Terms of use

Draft — to be reviewed by a lawyer.
The service
Depesha is a messenger with private chats, groups, channels and a feed. By using it you accept these terms and the Privacy policy. The details of the service operator will be added to the final version after legal review. Contact: irshat653@gmail.com.
The service is free. We keep developing it and may change, add or remove features.
Your account
- Signing in requires a phone number that belongs to you; it is confirmed with an SMS code.
- You are responsible for what happens in your account and for access to your devices. The session list and new-login alerts help you notice someone else signing in.
- Usernames and channel names must not impersonate another person or organisation.
Your content
You keep the rights to your messages, posts and files. You allow us to store them and deliver them to the people you addressed them to — the service needs this to work. Public posts and public channels are visible to all users and may appear in recommendations.
What is not allowed
- spam, mass messaging and fake engagement;
- fraud, phishing, spreading malware;
- threats, harassment, calls to violence;
- child sexual exploitation material and other illegal content;
- publishing other people’s personal data without consent;
- evading blocks and restrictions, interfering with the service.
Moderation and reports
Messages in groups and channels, posts and accounts can be reported. Moderators see only what was reported. Following reports and automated checks, content may be hidden, marked sensitive or excluded from recommendations, and an account may be restricted. You are notified about every measure and can appeal in the app.
Secret chats
Secret chats are a beta feature whose security is still under independent review. Do not rely on them as end-to-end encryption until the review is complete.
Deleting your account and ending access
You can delete your account in Settings at any time (deletion happens after 7 days). We may restrict or suspend an account that breaks these terms; such a decision can be appealed.
Liability
We work to keep the service reliable but cannot guarantee it will be free of interruptions and errors. The service is provided “as is” to the extent permitted by law.
Changes to these terms
We update these terms when the service changes and change the date at the top of the page. We will announce significant changes in advance.
